FAQs

Can I get a custom piece?

Totally! Working on custom and individual pieces is so fun, and we welcome it. Please reach out to us on the contact page, and we will get in touch with you shortly. We will discuss budget, design, and timeline before starting your commission.

Are these windows weather proof?

These windows are not made to be installed into a house and to be fully weather proof. That is a possible option, but please reach out to create a custom window and discuss it with the artist further.

How long do pieces take to ship?

All ready to ship pieces will ship within 3-5 business days of the order. Commissions and custom pieces will have a personal timeline discussed.

What materials do you use, and are they safe?

When doing stained glass, the method most commonly used is copper foil. All pieces are made with a 60/40 tin/lead solder split. This means that all pieces contain lead. Obviously there is an inherent risk when working with lead. Please wash your hands after heavy handling, and do not let children play with the pieces. If you have higher sensitivities to lead or metal, please wear gloves while handling.

What if a window breaks?

All glass windows are at risk of breaking at some point in their life. When there is one crack, it often is still very strong. But sometimes a window does need to be repaired. If you are in need of a repair, reach out and contact us with photos. We will assess the damage and what we can do to assist. There may be an additional fee charged for the repair if it was not broken in shipping.
